2012 Kids’ Art Contest: “If I Could Vote”
OLYMPIA… The Office of the Secretary of State invites students in grades 4 and 5 to enter the 2012 Kids’ Art Contest. The theme for this year is “If I Could Vote.”
This art contest is an opportunity for Washington’s youngest citizens to be a part of elections and think about what they would value as voters. Students enter the contest by submitting their art with an entry form no later than April 16th. Please see the entry form for contest rules and requirements.
The winning art will be featured in the 2012 General Election Washington State Voters’ Pamphlet. Last year, there were 3.5 million copies distributed statewide. The winning artist will also receive a surprise visit from Secretary of State Sam Reed at his or her school. You can view examples from previous years on our website.
